Exterior & Garden

If you hire the hall in its entirety, you have access to the small garden to the rear of the building. It is laid to lawn with bushes around the perimeter. There is also a wide brick walkway around the building, and wooden benches at the front which overlook the sea.

Please note that, due to the sloping site, there are 4 stone steps leading from the brick walkway up into the garden.

The original Victorian water pump can be seen on the western side of the building.

Disabled Access

This is an old building, built in the Victorian period on a steeply sloping site. Access from the road is via a sloping tarmac path of approx 50 metres.

There are two stone steps into the main entrance of the building, but a portable ramp is available on request. Once you are inside the entrance the main hall, kitchen, ladies toilets, and gents toilets are on one level.

There is a disabled access toilet but this is up 3 steps from the entrance lobby. However there is step-free access to this toilet around the outside of the building and back in through the small meeting room.

The annexe meeting room is adjacent to the disabled access toilet, and shares the same 3 steps up from the lobby. There is step-free access into the annexe from outside the building. Once inside the small meeting room, the disabled access toilet is on the same level.

Unfortunately, as the hall is built on a sloping site, the only access to the garden at the rear is up four stone steps. However there are wide step-free paved areas around the hall, and exterior benches at the front with a view overlooking the sea.
