Village Voice is the bi-monthly full-colour magazine for St Lawrence, with news, information and services for the village.
We very much welcome contributions from residents of St Lawrence and neighbouring villages. Perhaps you've written a poem. Or you'd like to tell everyone about a favourite walk you enjoy locally or elsewhere on the Island. Do you have a recipe you'd like to share?
Editorial contributions are free for local residents. We can even help with artwork for free, if required, where an editorial contribution is non-commercial.

If you wish to advertise your business or service to the residents of St Lawrence, advertising in Village Voice magazine is low cost, and supports our charity.
The magazine is full-colour and A5 in size. 300 issues will be published, 6 times a year. About 250 will be hand delivered to every house in St Lawrence, and the remaining left at other prominent locations.

ARTWORK SUPPLY
Full page adverts should be supplied as a print-ready 'flattened' PDF with 3mm bleed on all sides. Final supplied size: 154 × 216mm. Flattening a PDF ensures fonts, images and layout appear exactly as intended in print. We are unable to accept layered or editable working files for placement in the magazine.
Half and quarter page adverts should be supplied as high-resolution PNG files (300 DPI minimum) at the exact artwork sizes. These adverts do not require bleed as they are framed within white space.
Colour mode should be CMYK wherever possible.
All fonts must be embedded or outlined in PDFs. This ensures that your typeface does not get substituted and the text flows as you intend it.

DESIGN SUPPORT
If you don’t have artwork ready, we can help you create a simple, professional advert using your logo, images and wording. Design fees are modest — just drop us a message to chat it through.
PAYMENT
Payment must be made in full, prior to publication. Our treasurer will email an invoice to you. If you wish to regularly advertise in every issue (6 per year), you may wish to set up a Standing Order so payments are made automatically.

The Village Voice magazine is published the following month. For example, a copy date of 15th Jan is for the February/March issue, which is published early February.
