Our Victorian Island-stone village hall was originally built as a school for St Lawrence, near Ventnor on the Isle of Wight.
Now with modern facilities, this character building makes for a fitting venue suited to a variety of events, such as wellbeing and fitness classes, meetings, plays, wedding & christening functions, gender reveal parties, baby showers, charity groups, birthdays talks, and other get-togethers.
The Main Hall caters for up to 60 people (seated theatre-style) with a 4m x 9m stage.
The Meeting Room holds up to 15 (seated theatre-style) and opens out on to the garden.
The large kitchen has a sink, oven, microwave, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
St Lawrence Village Hall is a charity run by trustees - a group of unpaid volunteers who give up their own time, with other locals, to host the monthly Pop-Up-Bar and other social and fundraising events.
All profit goes towards the upkeep of the hall.
